The Film
After escaping LV-426 in Aliens, Ellen Ripley crash-lands on Fiorina 161, a desolate prison planet inhabited by violent male inmates. The crash kills her companions—Newt, Hicks, and Bishop—leaving Ripley alone in a hostile, isolated world. Soon, she discovers that an alien egg was aboard the ship, and a facehugger has impregnated an inmate’s dog (or an ox, depending on the version), giving birth to a new, more agile Xenomorph.
With no weapons and little trust from the prisoners, Ripley must convince them to fight the growing alien threat using only their wits and makeshift traps. As the Xenomorph begins killing the inmates one by one, Ripley makes a horrifying discovery—she’s carrying a Queen embryo inside her. The Weyland-Yutani Corporation arrives, eager to capture the alien for research, but Ripley refuses to let them exploit it.
