Born and raised in India, I am a California-based actor, writer, and film producer. I have acted in several films and TV shows and written and produced films advocating social change. My short film Unborn, streaming on Amazon Prime, is a compelling movie about female feticide in America. I recently wrote, produced, and acted in Designed by Preeti, which addresses domestic abuse, mental health, and interracial romance. I want to tell stories about women, especially women of color, and show the world that you can be a successful filmmaker as an older woman of color.
